Sean + Rose @ Le Meriden Hotel, KL

March 2, 2011

A beautiful wedding shot in Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, I assisted Hayashi in capturing Sean & Rose’s big day. Both of them are now based in the UK, and had friends and family from all over congregating in this beautiful hotel to witness their union. It was a beautiful sight to behold as echoes of laughter, giggles and jokes rang around the rooms and the hall. The night ended with a cozy dinner affair and lots of wine pouring through the guests… and some scenes were indeed hilarious! Here’s some selected photos from the day. Enjoy…

PC Lee + Penny @ G Hotel

January 1, 2011

Hmmm… Penny is someone whom I’ve known for several years while working at the same place (always troubleshooting her ADSL line, LOL!) So eventually this gal has grown up and decided to get married and asked for my help to capture her big day… 9 months in advance! Well, it was of course something which I cannot refuse lor as it was sort of a promise to her during her courting days. How time flies, pheeew. And before you know it, the day has arrived, I can still remember her panicky face during the day! Eventually everything turned out just fine with no drama whatsoever la. The fetch the bride session was certainly very interesting with the sporting heng tais, while the dinner was splendidly beautiful with lots of happy, smiling faces!

PC and Penny, I wish you both a wonderful journey of wedded bliss! Shooting together with Hayashi, here’s some shots to share with everyone…hope you guys like it!

Tony + Amy @ Changlun

October 30, 2010

After the Same-Day-Edit slideshow, here comes the photos. Changlun is a place where I’ve passed several times on the way to Hatyai, but never actually been in or around the town. At first I thought this would be your usual wedding but boy was I so wrong. After communicating with Tony it turns out that the guests numbers in excess of 2200!!! That’s 220 tables. So it left me wondering how in the world can you find a place big enough to fit 220 tables with room to spare? As it turns out – there IS such a place.

So with that in mind, I had to call my buddies Hayashi, Ckvin and lovu4ever for help. As you can see from the photos, the fetch the bride session consists of cars that were very drool worthy. And among them is my puny little Ford.. haha. Everything was planned to near perfection – especially the dinner function and the way the hall was prepared. Pheeww, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

Here are the results from our collaboration and the highlights of the day. Sorry for the huge number of photos but I had to include it – this is a beautiful wedding.

Komi

October 27, 2010

Shooting with TC Gan, Ahleong Blur and Hayashi, we went to Kuantan’s Berserah beach (where the local production Tiger Woo Hoo was filmed). I would say the weather was perfect for the kind of mood that we were trying to convey, and the wind that accompanied it helped a lot as well! On the other hand, Komi warmed up within 1 minute of shooting and was in her element throughout the shoot, such was the professionalism of this gal. This shoot lasted probably about one and a half hours, but all of us were satisfied with the outcome. Special thanks to my shooting buddies for this invite and also to Komi for the awesome job!

Sorry for the huge number of photos posted but I had to do it! Soooo pretty! Enjoy…
